The Yamaha VMax - One of the Fastest Motorcycles Around

Introduced in 1985, The Yamaha VMax is one of the fastest motorcycles ever produced. VMax is short for Velocitus Maximus and it's a heavier bike that is definitely not recommended for beginning motorcyclists. It is instead, more appropriate for experienced riders who want high speed in addition to the excitement of riding a motorcycle. The VMax has been a top seller ever since it was introduced into the motorcycling market more than 20 years ago. Many claim the VMax to be synonymous with top speed. I agree…

Visit this new page about the Yamaha VMax in my Japanese motorcycles site to learn more about this fabulous bike.

Honda CBR600F Series

The Honda CBR600F motorcycles have the title of the "Best Sportbikes in History"

Honda’s CBR600F success wasn’t only due to its victories in the racetrack (from 1987 to 2000, CBR600F mounted riders won more than 50% of all major 600 cc Supersport races held around the World), but also from offering to the public a bike with racetrack performance and power adapted to real world riding at an affordable price.

Honda Hurricane - 1987 CBR600F

The Honda CBR600F, originally known as the 'Hurricane', is a sports motorcycle made from 1987-1990. It was Honda's first inline 4-cylinder race bike. It has a liquid cooled 85 hp DOHC 16-valve Inline 4, and a 6-speed transmission. The Honda Hurricane was introduced as the newest style of sportbike, its smooth body lines were complimented by its angular form, providing the hurricane with some of the best aerodynamic properties of its time, and it changed the way sportbikes were built. The Hurricane was also the first sport bike to cross a quarter mile in under 11 seconds, and with all 85 horsepower screaming away at 11,000 rpm (max rpm of 12,000) the Honda Hurricane was one of the most intense sport motorcycles of its time. CBR600's have been built in its fairing-clad sleek image ever since.

A Suzuki Cavalcade LX named Tom

By 1985, The Suzuki Cavalcade LX was the most luxurious touring motorcycle Suzuki ever built. Standard features included electronic cruise control, AM / FM stereo cassette with front speakers and balance controls. (The radio unit is removable.) The bike also has an on-board air compressor and computer controlled front to back levelling. The passenger seat has an adjustable air pouch in the seat and two pouches in the back. These airbags can be adjusted on the road by the push of a button. The back rest is the highest of any touring motorcycle on the road today. There is also a built in intercom system. The Suzuki Cavalcade LX is powered by a 1400 cc water-cooled V-4 engine.

Motorcycle Trailer Hitches

Hey! It has been a long time since I last posted here...

I just uploaded to my site an article by Scott Gray at Trailer-Hitches-4U.com about motorcycle trailer hitches.

Here is an extract:

"Motorcycle enthusiasts are famous for enjoying long rides on their bikes. But with a long trip, comes some problems. Motorcycles don't have a lot of carrying capacity. With no trunk or backseat to carry your stuff makes traveling more difficult. That's where a motorcycle hitch and trailer comes in handy."
